Due to recent rain and soil conditions, the temporary road closure of South Walnut Street and Fort Worth Street has been extended until Friday, March 12, 2010 in order to complete a wastewater bore under Fort Worth Street. Please contact Tony McMillan at 817-598-4263 for any questions.

There will be a temporary road closure at the main entrance for Trace Ridge Subdivision on Friday, March 12, 2010. The intersection of Trace Ridge Drive and Interstate Highway 20 frontage road will be closed to install a storm drainage system. The temporary closure will be from approximately 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Trace Ridge residents are encouraged to use Lockwood Lane and Causbie Drive as an alternate detour during road closures. Every effort will be made to re-open this intersection as soon as possible.
Also, beginning Monday, March 15, 2010, and lasting for approximately two weeks, the same intersection will be reduced to one lane. The east lane will be closed for reconstruction and the western lane will remain open for both inbound and outbound traffic for Trace Ridge Subdivision. Please keep in mind that inclement weather may delay work and extend the time the lane remains closed. Some construction noise may be noticeable.

On Sunday, March, 14, 2010, weather permitting, East Park Avenue (from College Park Drive east to Santa Fe Drive) will be temporarily closed from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Transportation and Public Works (TPW)crews will be installing road and pavement markings for the intersection of East Park and Texas Drive.

Suggested Alternate Routes:
From Santa Fe- use Hilltop Drive or Foster Lane.
From College Park/East Park- use Foster Lane to reach Hilltop or continue north to intersection with Santa Fe.
