Our special guests from 2013 - the kindie rock duo, The Que Pastas – are back to cut a groove with our youngest patrons.     On Monday, July 28th, 2014 teens can delve into a cool genre of science fiction in an unusual way – through craft projects! Steampunk combines the romance of Victorian England, the adventure of the American West and speculative technologies based on the power of steam into an exciting backdrop that fuels the imagination. If this sounds like your cup of tea, join the Young Adult Summer Reading Club at Weatherford Public Library for Steam Teens: Steampunk Crafts from 2:30 to 4pm. A variety of projects will introduce teens to the fantastic possibilities of steampunk design using simple everyday objects.

    On Wednesday July 30th the Summer Film Festival bids a fond farewell to the season with a blockbuster film perfect for everyone in the family.   7. Summer Reading Club: Critterman - Texas Tails

    The Weatherford Public Library is glad to present a crowd favorite on Thursday, July 31st for our next Summer Reading Club Event. Critterman returns with Texas Tails, a program featuring animals native to the Lone Star state. Presenter David Kleven and Susan Kleven own and operate Animal Edutainment, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife education.
