1.
Where do I get an application?
Applications are available at City Hall, 303 Palo Pinto. You can also print the online application and mail it to City of Weatherford PO Box 255 Weatherford TX 76086 or fax it to 817-598-4007. An application must be completed for each open position you are interested in.
2.
If I meet minimum qualifications will I be interviewed?
Interviews are not automatic. HR representatives and Manager work together to determine who will be interviewed. Preference will be given to applicants who possess more specific education and/or experience.
3.
If I’m not interviewed or hired, will you keep my application on file?
Applications are considered only for the specific job open at the time you submit it. If you are interested in a position that comes open at a later date, a new application must be submitted.
4.
What happens if I just send a resume for your reference in case there’s a job opening meeting my qualifications?
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications/resumes received, we can accept application/resumes only for current openings. Unsolicited applications/resumes are not maintained in our files.
5.
What jobs can I apply for?
Applications are accepted only for positions that are currently open. HR may screen applications for experience, criminal history, clear driving records, etc. before applicants are interviewed.
