The Cherry Park Community Building and Harberger Hill Community Building are available to the public to rent for family reunions, birthday parties, showers, etc.

Cherry Park Community Building

Located in Cherry Park 

Cherry Park Community Building is a barracks-style building (long and lean) and is rented as one unit and has a capacity of around 50 people. . There are restrooms and a kitchen inside available for use. Although health guidelines prevent renters from cooking, the kitchen may be used to warm-up pre-made food or catered food. 

$30/hour rental 
$225/day (8am-12am) 

$125 refundable deposit

Harberger Hill Community Building 


701 Narrow Street (Harberger Hill Community Building Layout)

Harberger Hill Community Building is one large room that accommodates 75 people. Restrooms and a kitchen are available for use with the rental of the building. Although health guidelines prevent renters from cooking, the kitchen may be used to warm-up pre-made food or catered food. 

$40/hour rental 
$300/day (8am-12am)

$200 refundable deposit

Mount Pleasant School


213 Raymond George Way

Book your next business meeting at the newly renovated Mount Pleasant School. It is a two-room facility, each room can seat up to 50 people. Due to historic preservation, decorations are prohibited. There is no kitchen available in this facility. Rented for meetings only.  May only rent two days per week, due to high demand for reservations.  

$20/hour rental
 (8am-10pm)

Reservation Information 

  • Reservations must include set-up and clean-up time. Renters are responsible for cleaning after themselves.
  • Renters must pay building deposit to make and hold a reservation.  Key can be picked up 5 business days before actual reservation.  Parks office is closed on the weekend.  
  • High demand limit is only 2 reservation days per week
  • All reservations are accepted up to (6) months in advance.  Recurring reservation must be approved and are limited to 3 months at a time.  
  • Weekday rentals must end no later than 10pm, including clean-up times.
  • Weekend rentals (F/S/S) must end no later than midnight, including clean-up times.


Non-Profit Groups


  • Non-profit groups may use the Mount Pleasant School for $5/hour (no day rate) 
  • Non-profit groups may reserve Mount Pleasant no more than twice a week due to the demand for requested reservation space. 
  • We will require a copy of the group's 501(c)(3) certificate in order to receive the non-profit discount.
  • Only meetings are accepted, decorations are prohibited due to historic preservation of the building.
  • Saturday/Sunday reservations are accepted up to one (1) month in advance
  • Weekday reservations are accepted up to three (3) months in advance.
