Free history-based unit studies are offered at this website for grammar and logic stages using classic children’s books.

Lit Charts
Free downloadable literature guides of classic titles are comprised for middle and high school levels.

Online literature summaries, guides and book notes for teens, college students, teachers and homeschoolers are collected here. This is the link to the free page, but additional titles are available for purchase.

SparkNotes
Choose summaries, essay topics, study questions, historical and cultural context, and character development on various works of literature. Be sure to check out the best feature…the multiple quizzes your student can take to determine understanding of each literature selection. There are also full texts here of classic books, translations, and access to additional subjects, providing information on any topic. This is a wonderful free resource for your homeschool!
