Events for Teens

Weatherford Public Library Youth Services seeks to empower the youth of Weatherford and Parker County by inspiring a love of reading and libraries and encouraging lifelong learning. We accomplish this by providing a welcoming atmosphere at the library, developing strong events for youth and their families and by providing access to information and ideas. We offer a broad and relevant collection of print and non-print materials to meet the changing developmental needs of young people.

Teen Legion

Teen Legion (ages 12 & up) meets 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 pm. Each event offers crafts and activities for teens.

  • February 13th - Anti-Valentine Celebration

Join us for some Anti-Valentine fun with activities and crafts designed for Teens. Broken Heart Cards, Black Tape Roses, Heart Poppers and more! Teen Legion meets every 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 pm. Additional fun activities as time allows. This event is for teens ages 12 and up.

Homeschool Hour

First Thursday of the month  |  2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

  • Rescheduled for February 9th - Hearts and Chocolate!

February project stations with hearts and chocolate! This month’s homeschool event will feature Chocolate Fountains, Heart Catapults, Washi Tape Valentines, and Heart Poppers. Homeschool Hour meets the 1st Thursday at 2:00 p.m. each month from September to May. Each month will be a different theme.
