Why do I smell sewer odors in my house?
Often sewer odors come from p-traps from fixtures that are not used on a regular basis. In order to avoid this routinely run water in the sinks or tubs to minimize this potential.

Why does my water smell & taste different?
Normally taste and odor occurs because of algae blooms in the lake. These normally occur in the summer but can occur anytime. Call Utilities – 817-598-4257.

What would cause my water pressure to decline?
Your faucet screens could be clogged or, utility crews could be flushing in the area. If you experiencing a reduction on your pressure please call Utilities – 817-598-4257.

Our source water is Lake Weatherford and Lake Benbrook.

When is the best time for outdoor watering?
We recommend that our customers water between 6:00 pm and 10:00 am. Watering during that time will help to conserve water and lower your consumption.

Is it ok to flush paint, chemicals, grease or other such substances down the drain or toilet?
No, paint, cleaning fluids, solvent or gasoline, tarp, rags, grease can cause stop-ups or explosions in the main sewer lines and may also can cause problems at the treatment plant. Call 817-598-4257.
