Yes, we accept both debit and credit card payments in person. Please talk to one of our library clerks at the circulation desk. Credit card payments can not be taken over the phone. The charge must be over $5.00.

Photographic identification issued by a government or educational institution is required to open an account and must be shown when the application is made. For example: a current driver’s license or state identification card. City residence verification is required to open a no charge account. Acceptable forms of verification: government issued ID (must be current), electric bill, water bill, cable bill, natural gas bill, or lease.

When you sign in on that site, your PIN will be the last four digits of the telephone number that's listed on your library account, unless you have changed that PIN by using the online catalog account management features.
Searching for and checking out items is very similar to using e-commerce sites like Amazon.com. There are also a number of helpful tutorials on the site that show you the download process step-by-step and there is also an interactive support tool that is useful in getting started.
If you live inside or own property inside of Weatherford city limits, there is no charge to open an account at Weatherford Public Library. There is an annual $50 non-resident fee if you live outside of the City of Weatherford.

As of October 1st, 2020 Weatherford Public Library has gone FINE FREE! This means that we will no longer be charging overdue fines on items that belongs to Weatherford Public Library when they are turned in after their due date. Items that belong to other PCLA libraries will still have late fines applied. Charges for damaged items or items not returned to us will still apply.
