There are many times that we struggle to find an owner or manager of a business after he or she becomes the victim of a crime. There are many times that our officers observe or find suspicious activity around local businesses, but they have no one to call and answer their questions. Below are some personal questions about your business. All of the information on this form will be kept confidential. Please complete this form with your up-to-date information and only fill in the details you feel we should know. Any information such as you normally leave your register open, you normally leave the lights on, etc. is important information to our officers. Only answer the questions you feel comfortable with us knowing.

In addition to the form listed below, the Weatherford Police Department currently uses Blackboard Connect to notify the community with trusted neighborhood level public safety and community information. This program alerts business owners/managers about certain crime trends that may be occurring in our area such as theft, scams, forgeries, etc as well as notifying the community of traffic issues and community events. It is our intention to put these notices out very quickly to help reduce the potential for further criminal episodes. Blackboard notifies it’s users by email, text message or both.
