The owner and/or operator of the short-term rental property shall register with the city's finance department to pay Hotel Occupancy Taxes prior to the date that the short-term rental permit application is submitted, and the owner and/or operator must remit all applicable hotel occupancy taxes in accordance with local and state laws governing payment schedules and procedures
