When a Film Permit is Required
A completed application and approved film permit are required before any filming can take place in Weatherford.
This applies to:
- Use of City-owned property such as streets, sidewalks, right-of-ways, parks, and public buildings
- Commercial filming on private property if it impacts adjacent public or private property (traffic, parking, pedestrian access, noise, etc.)
- Use of City equipment or personnel in connection with filming
Both professional and amateur/student productions must follow this process.
