Public Information Officer

The Weatherford Police Department's Public Information Officers (PIOs) play a key role in keeping the community informed. They work directly with the media to share updates on police activity and ensure timely information is available across our various platforms. Looking for a specific report? You can submit official open record requests through the Texas Public Information Act here or reach out to our Records Department at wpdrecords@weatherfordtx.gov. 

For your convenience, Daily Media Reports from the past 30 days are available. These reports are uploaded by our staff during normal business hours and a delay may occur during weekends, holidays, or especially busy times. If you need a report not listed, feel free to contact the Records Department for assistance. If you are a member of the media, inquiries about specific incidents may be sent to policemedia@weatherfordtx.gov.
