Public Notices - Avilla Lockwood Voluntary Annexation

Brief Description - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 43, the City of Weatherford, Texas, proposes to institute voluntary annexation proceedings at the request of the landowner on an approximate 17.819-acre tract of land located generally east of BB Fielder Road and Causbie Road (Tract 1), and the following two portions of road right-of-way abutting Tract 1: an approximate 1.601-acre portion of variable width road right-of-way of BB Fielder Road (Tract 2); and an approximate 0.920-acre portion of variable width road right-of-way of Causbie Road (Tract 3). A map of the proposed voluntary annexation is available in the City Secretary's Office and on the City's website (www.weatherfordtx.gov) under 'Government' > 'Public Notices.' The City Council of the City of Weatherford, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the proposed voluntary annexation, and will consider adoption of the ordinance for the proposed voluntary annexation on the following date: DATE: Tuesday, June 24, 2025 TIME: 6:00 P.M. LOCATION: Weatherford City Hall Council Chambers, 303 Palo Pinto Street All interested persons are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Should you require special accommodations to participate, please contact the City Secretary at 817-598-4202 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting and every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations. City Hall is wheelchair accessible and special parking is available from the south side of the building.
